An average person normally loses up to 100 strands every day. If a person is losing more than this, there might be several reasons for it. Besides aging, the most common reason for hair fall may be crash dietings and nutritional deficiencies (Protein, Iron, Zinc and vitamins). Proteins are the building blocks of our body including our hair, and inadequate consumption of food items rich in proteins ( legumes, nuts, seeds, cheese, eggs etc) may contribute to thin hair and hair loss.
